HVAC TECHNICIAN - (8/02/11)
Job Summary: Provide HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs for established route as well as on demand service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following however other duties may be assigned: Performs preventative maintenance to light commercial equipment including but not limited to Heat pumps, split systems, roof top units, air handling units, pumps, cooling towers, etc. Gas furnace experience is mandatory. Trouble shoot and diagnose equipment failures. Replace or adjust defective or worn parts to repair systems. Performs preventative maintenance tasking on all HVAC equipment. Must have strong electrical skills, especially low voltage controls. Refrigeration operation license a plus. Performs other routine duties.

Education and/or Experience: One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Universal HVAC - Type I, II and III.
